We lost our two palm trees but you can see the magnolia branch in the pic on the left. It was saved. Even though we are in Oregon, we have a microclimate that is hot and dry in the summer and cold but little snow in the winter.

Our littliest doeling - an experimental breeding resulting in a June baby. The sire is our Whado replacement ; a Whado faded red son that thankfully produced a good colored kid.
She is a spunky girl who holds her own with the big kids.

Mom's house next door
The logger did an great job of falling the tree exactly where he wanted to - sparing our redwood tree in the background.
